The Enemy Within

The Enemy Within:

With all the spying going on in our country why was all the thievery overlooked that has brought our country to its knees? The enemy was within, not in other countries and it wasn’t the terrorist, it was our government.. All our electronic surveillance has gone for naught. But I think the people in charge knew what was going on and protected the people of their own ilk.

All the changes needed and brought to the attention of our politicians were overlooked. No one in charge wanted to regulate what was going on the financial world. They just wanted to continue getting their large salaries from the taxpayers and their friends to keep getting rich. They did, now we have to bail them out with the taxpayers money. Actually they are all a bunch of slimy thieves. Why is it that we have prisons full of people who have stolen less than what these thieves make in an hour??? I’ll bet you a dollar to a doughnut that none of them will ever be prosecuted and spend a day in jail.

All of their bank accounts and properties should be ceased. Every politician and government employee that knew or suspected that this was an on going, and was funneled money under the table should go to prison and all their pensions stopped, with the money returned to the treasury. The very idea that any of these people be given a bonus or a golden parachute is revolting. Remember the Bonus Army after World War one. They were promised one dollar a day for every day in service and one dollar and twenty-five cents for every day over-seas. Our government delayed and delayed, congress didn’t pass it. A group of veterans went to Washington and waited and waited, it didn’t pass. They stayed and waited. Finally the president ordered them removed, so they “great officers, MacArthur, Eisenhower and Patton, took the big guns and ran them off. Killing many of them. They deserved their bonus and much more. One reason I’m not patriotic. These bunch of thieves and politicians need to be sent to prison for the rest of their lives. They are worse than any enemy combatants we now have in prison. (At least they were fighting for something they believed in, be it right or wrong).

This bunch of thieves were American citizens stealing and harming other American citizens. Our Judicial system has been shot to hell. Laws are made, but not for everyone alike. It’s how rich you are and who you know, then you can get out of anything. I have watched this proven time and time again. I quote again what my husband said on March 20, 1994, “The worst enemy that the people of any country has, is its government and leaders”.

Wars

I read the article in November 5, 2007 in the Fort Worth Star Telegram. About all the homeless veterans in this country.

It reminded me again of why I have no respect for the Government of the United States. Our veterans from all the wars, from 1790 to 2007, have been promised many things and our government have reneged on their word and treated them all so disgracefully. I have had relatives in all these wars. In the Civil war I had two great grandfathers and five great uncles. Three of the great uncles never returned. We never found out where they died. We never knew whether they were buried or they were left to rot and the vultures ate them. They were young men. The ones that did return had to walk and find their way home from wherever the war ended.

We finally got markers showing they were Civil War veterans and buried them in Spirit in the family cemetery next to their Father and Mother. Records, forget about it. This was on just one side of my family.
Either they didn’t keep records or they were burned by the union army. This was Americans fighting Americans. My daughter has searched by internet all the records available. Before that we traveled and searched courthouses and graveyards in many states. We searched through all the census records available. It is so sad that one can’t find what happened to the ones who died, and sadder yet to know what happened to the ones who returned, to realize that your country who turned their backs on you did not appreciate your fighting so bravely for them.

It has been the same in all the wars. In WW1 I had many relatives who went to Europe, some returned and some didn’t. Many of the ones who did return had been gassed and were in poor health all their lives, but they still had to farm or run sawmills to make a living, believe me neither one is an easy way to make a living, at least they could eat by having a garden, hunting and fishing in the swamps.

Many died along with their families when influenza hit, old veterans and young ones. I am now 80 years old and I remember the veterans from WW1 talking about the war. One, a cousin whose farm was next to ours, he died January 3, 1965. He was in the outfit that was headed by Capt. Douglas MacArthur in Europe. He was gassed and nearly didn’t make it home. I am going to quote an article called, “The Bonus Army”.

In 1924, a grateful Congress voted to give a bonus to the World War 1 veterans. $1.25 for each day served overseas, $1.00 for each day served in the States. The catch was that payment would not be made until 1945. However, by 1932 the nation had slipped into dark days of the Depression and the unemployed veterans needed and wanted their money immediately.

In May of that year, some 15,000 veterans, many unemployed and destitute, descended on Washington, D.C. to demand immediate payment of their bonus. They proclaimed themselves the Bonus Expeditionary Force but the public dubbed them the “Bonus Army”.
Raising ramshackle camps at various places around the city, they waited.

The veterans made their largest camp at Anacostia Flats across the river from the Capitol. Approximately 10,000 veterans, women and children lived in the shelters built from materials dragged out of a junk pile nearby – old lumber, packing boxes and scrap tin covered with roofs of thatched straw.

Discipline in the camp was good, despite the fears of many city residents who spread unfounded “Red Scare” rumors. Streets were laid out, latrines dug, and formations held daily. Newcomers were required to register and prove they were bonafide veterans who had been honorably discharged. Their leader, Walter Waters, stated, “We’re in for the duration and we’re not going to starve. We’re going to keep ourselves a simon-pure veterans organization. If the Bonus is paid it will relieve to a large extent the deplorable economic condition.

June 17 was described by a local newspaper as the “tensest day in the capitol since the war.” The Senate was voting on the bill already passed by the House to immediately give the vets their bonus money. By dusk, 10,000 marchers crowded the Capitol grounds expectantly awaiting the outcome. Walter Waters, leader of the Bonus Expeditionary Force, appeared with bad news. The Senate had defeated the bill by a vote of 62 to 18. The crowd reacted with stunned silence. “Sing America and go back to your billets” he commanded, and they did. A silent “Death March” began in front of the Capitol and lasted until July 17, when Congress adjourned.

A month later, on July 28, Attorney General Mitchell ordered the evacuation of the veterans from all government property, entrusted with the job, the Washington police met with resistance, shots were fired and two marchers killed. Learning of the shooting at lunch, President Hoover ordered the army to clear out the veterans. Infantry and cavalry supported by six tanks were dispatched with Chief of Staff General Douglas MacArthur in command. Major Dwight D. Eisenhower served as is liaison with the Washington police and Major George Patton led the cavalry.

By 4:45 P.M. the troops were massed on Pennsylvania Ave. below the Capitol. Thousands of Civil Service employees spilled out of work and lined the streets to watch. The veterans, assuming the military display was in their honor, cheered. Suddenly Patton’s troopers turned and charged. “Shame, Shame” the spectators cried. Soldiers with fixed bayonets followed, hurling gas into the crowd.

By nightfall the BEF retreated across the Anacostia River where Hoover ordered MacArthur to stop. Ignoring the command, the general led his infantry to the main camp. By early morning the 10,000 inhabitants were routed and the camp in flames. Two babies died and nearby hospitals overwhelmed with casualties. Eisenhower later wrote, “the whole scene was pitiful.” The veterans were ragged, ill-fed, and felt themselves badly abused. To suddenly see the whole encampment going up in flames just added to the pity.

What I have quoted here is not all of the article. I originally read the full story in the Smithsonian several years ago. The people were helped by some of the more wealthy matrons in Washington. Had all of the veterans been able to go to Washington with this group, we would probably had another Civil War. Or if all of the veterans had known about this, there would have been no more patriotism when WW11 came along. Many people did not get newspapers unless they had to go into town or someone wrote them about what was going on in the world. The government sure didn’t let you know. The only time they came around, was for taxes, or try to catch people making whiskey. But they sure let you know what was going on when they needed all our young men to fight wars on their behalf. Same old lies and promises again.

I had a husband who was a pilot in WW11 in Europe and many, many relatives, some came home and some didn’t. I have my three cornered flag, from a cousin who my parents helped raise. His body lies at the
bottom of the South China Sea, 200 miles south of the Formosa Strait. He was taken prisoner of war by the Japanese in the Philippines, May 6, 1942 and held in the Cabanatuan Camp No.1, until October 10, 1944. He was placed on the Arisan Maru, with 1800 other American prisoners being transferred to Japan. The Arisan Maru was torpedoed by the USS Snook on October 24, 1944. Not more than 10 americans survived the sinking. He was 22 years old. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Citation of Honor, all signed by Gen. Douglas MacArthur. And the bastards didn’t even spell his name right, and we tried to get the government to correct it and they wouldn’t. I don’t consider it an honor, even though lots of people consider it an honor.
We buried him in spirit in the Family Cemetery, by our other family veterans. I will never forgive or forget.

WW11 veterans were to some extent treated better than the WW1 veterans, but none have since. I hate war, I do not salute the flag, as it is only a symbol, nor am I patriotic. A quote from Guy de Maupassant, “Patriotism is a kind of religion; it is the egg from which wars are hatched.” I love all people of every nationality and it is too bad that the government and leaders of all countries are greedy, corrupt warmongers and waste so many human lives. That is not what the Supreme Power God put us on this earth for. He said live in peace. Until all the people in the world who believe this rise up and put a stop to it, it will never cease until the end. We all have to die, but after we have lived our lives, not have it ended in a war for naught.

A Change is Needed

It’s time for a change. Remember the beginning?
The Declaration of Independence was the promise; the Constitution was the fulfillment.

“The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for, among old parchments, or musty records. They are written, as with a sunbeam in the whole volume of human nature, by the hand of the divinity itself; and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power. (Alexander Hamilton, 1775)

From The DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, I quote: “When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation”.

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and Happiness.

I will stop here: I realize this was written to separate us from England and their unjust laws. But it really should apply for what has been going on in the United States for many years and it has only gotten worse. If people will read the rest of the Declaration, you will note some of the reasons given to separate us from England, can very definitely apply now. This Country still uses some of the Old English Laws, that the King used. Complete and total control, and that has become the agenda of our Government. I for one don’t like it, as I am a Citizen, not a Subject. I will follow just laws, but not the ones I feel are unjust.

Since we have a Government that does not respect the Citizens, as was intended. We have over these many years elected officials that have taken advantage and are dishonest, greedy and corrupt. It is time to go back to the original Constitution, remove and ratify all changes that have been made that do not apply to its Citizens. I had an ancestor who wrote in 1822, “Government was not Government for and by the people, it was a Government of favoritism and control by a few. And he came to realize that power over a man’s substance, in the normal course of human nature amounts to power over his will”. So the original Independence and the original Constitution didn’t last very long.

Many things in the original Constitution I don’t like, the exclusion of the inhabitants of this land the Indians, when all the immigrants came and set up shop. They were here first. But all those supposedly good Christian people didn’t consider them human beings and treated them ungodly. They forgot what the Good Book said, “That all men created equal”.

The many changes made over the years have been made for control and favoritism for a few of the Citizens. The first ten Amendments (Bill of Rights) were ratified, effective December 15, 1791. These amendments should stand today, as it did in 1791. We should go back and deleted all changes within reason.

The one I want changed back to the original amendment is Amendment V., or the part, now know as the Eminent Domain Law. But I would like it to read: Private property cannot be taken for any reason, without explicit permission of the owner and if permission is granted, just compensation by the taker. The law has been changed to benefit the Government and wealthy corporations. The loss has been to the property owners. My law is: If you set foot on my property and try it, I will use my right under Amendment II. Or the old range law,”SADDLE YOUR HORSES, LOAD YOUR WEAPONS AND PROTECT YOUR CASTLE.”

“The worst enemy that the people of any country has is its government and its leaders”. This is a quote from my deceased husband, made March 20, 1994. He was a lawyer and always told me, beware of lawyers, you can’t trust the majority of them. He said,”they will steal the pennies off their dead grandmothers eyes and the gold from her teeth”.

We need to eliminate most lawyers from the government and replace them with learned Professors, without a political affiliation. Just be sure they are honest and have integrity. You can’t find many politicians that have this quality.

The President that we have was not elected by the people, he was assigned by the Supreme Court. It is their fault that he is president. Which shows they are not capable of being a Judge for any reason, as they can be swayed by a political party or bought off like our other dishonest politicians. After he and his cronies got their foot in the door, they knew it would take longer than four years to get total control. For their second term that would be coming up, they knew that the chance of being assigned by the Supreme Court again would be risky. So they had to think of something else to keep everyone off guard for them to stay in the White House until they could get all the power they wanted.

I believe, along with many other people that Bush and Cheney along with their other warmongering friends, and with the help of their Saudi friends, planned 9-11, in order to start all the terrorist fears and get everyone off guard. Our Senate and Congress and many of our citizens believed this horrible ruse. The Senators and Congressmen started signing practically everything put before them in order to protect the people, or so they thought. Actually it was so that Bush, Cheney, friends and all the large corporations could take over and make all the rules and not let the citizens know what was going on behind closed doors…..Classified?

The Bush-Cheney propaganda machine, along with the war hawks, many of them republicans, went to work on keeping everyone scared out of their wits. We never heard the word TERRORIST or Al Qaeda so many times in our life. Reminds me of when we were kids, our parents would say, “if you aren’t good the old buggerman will get you.” They had to get to the middle east to try to take control of all the oil.

He didn’t really try to find Osama bin Laden, since he is from one of the large influential families of Saudi Arabia. Bush and Cheney don’t really want to capture him. It might upset their playhouse in Saudi Arabia. But since the Saudi family and Bush family hated Saddam, they went after him with a vengeance. They lied to the American people and everyone else. Just like they lied to us under Reagan and Bush about the Iran-Contra affair. They still have some of the same corrupt people back in the government that was in all of this. Surely someone remembers all this.

The only terrorist we have in the world are the governments and dictators ruling the countries. The majority of the citizens of these countries are gentle people. They have had rules forced on them and persuaded by the governing bodies, that it was the right thing to do and they believed them. Forced to believe that their religion said it was the right thing to do. Their “Good Book” has been changed over the many years by the rulers and religious fanatics, to say what they wanted it to say. Just as our various religions have changed to what various denominations wanted to say.

I listen and have listened over all these years to our government officials talking about values, morals, frankly none of them have any. There is no honesty and integrity in any of them. I remember my history, way back to year God one. We have had cruel uncaring rulers in every country. The ones that were supposed to be civilized. I have watched and listened to the Presidents of this country, put their hands on the Bible and swear to up hold the laws of this land. Well, they have to some extent, after they change the laws to suit themselves for their own selfish and corrupt reason, but not for the benefit of the majority of the citizens. Part of the citizens of this country have been reduced to third world status.
England, France, Spain, and other countries, along with the United States have for years exploited all the third world countries for their minerals, and other various riches within these countries. They made themselves and corporations from their various countries very rich, but the poor citizens are still left without and treated very badly. Man’s inhumanity to man has never ceased to amaze me.

As for the United States, we the people need to stand up and change things. We need to Impeach the President, Vice-President and fire all his followers. Get rid of all the corrupt politicians and make new rules for running this country.

When I get really upset, I sit down and start writing to vent my spleen. I have done this for years, it really helps to get it off your chest, but doesn’t really change things. I’m an 80 year old woman and too old to start a revolution, but I would help. I still can shoot.

Voting Rights

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Anyone who goes to vote, who is registered to vote and they have their voter registration and or other identification with them and they are told they cannot vote. They should have the worlds first revolution in each of their polling places. Everyone who was not allowed to vote should sit down or lay down on the floor and stay there, until the matter is cleared up. No police should be allowed to intervene. Each person who is registered to vote has that right. If the people in charge do not have their records correct, it is not the fault of the person who have registered to vote. It is time for this type of thing to stop.

That’s why we need to change our voting system NOW.

Sir:

I can not believe that a group of supposedly intelligent people, as the SMU trustees and others, (of course I understand Donald Evans, he is one of Bush’s cronies, even before he got in the white house) would allow a presidential library to be built on the grounds of Southern Methodist University for King George Bush (some of us old folks refer to him as the village idiot from Midland). I wondered why Evans left his soft job in the white house. Evidently he headed straight to Dallas to start the details for the library and back into the energy business.

I’m sure you are all good republicans, but if you are his type of republican, it does not say much for your character. Don’t tell me that you don’t know all about him, if you said no, I wouldn’t believe you. Not with all the access you have for information. If you are interested in the affairs of the world, you can easily find out, what the majority of the people in the world already know. He is without a doubt one of the worst men in this country, along with his friends. He started a war without reason, but of course he used the excuse of 9-11, but his plans were already in place to go after Iraq’s oil reserves and get rid of Saddam.

He has ruined our country, raped our constitution and politicalized our justice department. He is disliked around the world.

You consider it a great day for SMU, frankly you have sullied your reputation. It is strange what people will do, for what they consider an asset, prestige and money. I was hoping by now that Bush and Cheney would be impeached and deported to Maine and Wyoming, anyplace except Texas. Or on the other hand we convict mass murderers and put them in jail for life . Our young men have died and many have been maimed for life, the citizens of Iraq have died and many of them have been maimed for life, on a whim of a bunch of greedy corrupt men, who claim to be Christians.

My husband now deceased was a graduate of SMU Law School. He once said, “the worst enemy that any country had was its government and its leaders”. I have found that to be true, especially during the Bush 1 and Bush 11 years. Many of our journalist, who really searched for the truth, have written some great books. Ask an honest journalist that you know and they will give you a list. The ones who told the truth, not biased for or against, just the old unadulterated truth, which we don’t find much of in this world anymore.

To bad your heart is not on the right side of SMU.

Just Wondering

Just wondering.. Paul Wolfowitz, who was No. 2 at the Pentagon, is now at the World Bank, with a $300,000 tax-free annual salary, a mortgage allowance and a golf-club membership. IRS criminal investigators routinely freeze thousands of tax refunds without notifying taxpayers. I wonder if they will freeze his refund. If Wolfowitz salary of $300,000. can be tax-free, why can’t everyone who makes under $300,000. be tax-free also? The old saying of something is rotten in Denmark could apply as something is rotten in the United States.

The tax on $300,000. is more than most people make. What’s wrong with this picture? Can someone tell me?

Something to think about

Something to think about:

Not to long ago I was listening to a group of television ministers talking about religion. Talking about the Holy Land. They were discussing working with all the different religions. I didn’t hear them mention the Muslim religion. If they did I missed it.

They began talking about the Anti-Christ and Armageddon. The place where the final battle between good and evil will be fought. The Anti-Christ is the one who will show up with the numbers 666 on his head and corrupt the world. I think he will be a little late, as it is already corrupt.

This one fellow started talking about the number 666. Said all of the Anti-Christ followers would have the number 666 on them also, and if anyone didn’t have this number on them, then they would not be able to buy or get anything. That means that the mild and meek who are supposed to inherit the earth are going to be up a creek, which they are now.

A few days later there was an article in the paper about how your credit score affects us, with a wheel showing the numbers 660-679 with the average US credit score as 678. I thought to myself, HEY maybe the battle has begun. As people have to have a certain credit score in order to buy a car, insurance, get a bank loan or mortgage loan to buy a home, plus many other things.

He sounded sincere and acted like it was the GOD’s truth. What do you think?

Space Program

Space Program:

These people grew up reading to many comic books, Flash Gordon and the like. So they have been flying around in space, landed on the moon. They have not accomplished one single thing for the good of humanity. A lot of people have been killed and nothing to show for it except some moon rocks. They have built a space station to spy on the rest of the world. This is to help keep up with their war efforts in trying to take over the rest of the world and rule it.

I’m no Pat Robertson and I don’t pretend to know what God thinks, as he doesn’t talk to me, as he supposedly does Rev. Pat. But this planet is where he put ALL of humanity and we can’t even take care of it. If God had of wanted us on the moon and other planets, he would have put us there. Why waste the money and our time and energy, when it would be better spent on all the things needed here, and I don’t mean fighting wars and telling other countries how they should live, when we can’t even take care of the people in the United States. The space program is another type of corruption affiliated with our government. The taxpayer’s money has been going down a rat hole and to the big corporations.

This country has millions of people living in poverty and no way out. Let’s vote to stop the space program until there are no more poor people and we have a balanced budget. The price of gasoline might go down, if we quit using so much in the space program and the airplanes flying all over the world.

I have voted

I have voted in every election for the last 57 years, for all the things I believed in. As one gets older, they do not like changes. I like the old fashioned paper ballots.

I decided years ago that I did not like machines ruling my life. I like my paper copies with my notes, dated and initialed on all items that I worked on. Then computers came along. After 35 years in the insurance industry, I decided that’s enough. They have not made life any easier, only companies get richer. After a couple of years they become outdated and can’t be repaired and you have to buy a new one, which is supposed to do bigger and better things.

If the voting machines will run you a copy of your vote, then this could be acceptable, otherwise I don’t trust them or the people running the elections. Since Weatherford has become a haven for republicans, there really isn’t anyone to vote for, if you aren’t a republican. The old expression of a cold day in hell, or a nicer one, icicles in August, which it would have to be, before I voted for a republican candidate. Over the many years, they have not done one single solitary thing to change my mind.

I Have A Question

I have a question. Do you think the United States would allow another Country to come here and tell us that we need to have another type of government? Tell us that our various religions are bad and we need to change? Tell us that the way we live is wrong and that we need to change? I don’t think so….After all, these countries the United States are trying to change, are centuries older than we are, and have survived, without our help. Yes, they have fought among themselves, just as we do in the United States.

Take our individual states in the United States, do you think the Governor of any state would allow the Governor of another state to come into their territory and tell them how to run their state? I don’t think so…

The United States has allowed large corporations (with their help) to go into other countries and exploit them, with the help of their rulers. Telling them it would be good for them. That it would make rich, and it did, but not for the poor people of these countries. Greed is a terrible sin. This is what all this exploitation is about. The rich get richer and the poor of these countries suffer, and have no one to turn too. Envy is another sin, and this sin has been forced onto the poor people, which has been a lot of the cause of the in-fighting among their own people. I have never been able to understand how rulers of a country could live in such immense wealth and allow their people to be treated so badly.

Foreign countries aren’t the only ones that treat their people bad. The Government of The United States does the same thing. The Government of The United States takes our tax dollars and waste them and do not feel that they have to explain or account for it. They treat our poor people less than human beings.

Our Government of The United States allows the people of this country to be exploited by Pharmaceutical companies. The same drugs sold in the United States are sold in other countries for 50, 60 and 80 percent less than we can buy them here. They are all made by the same companies. Many bought here have to have a prescription, so you have to go back to the doctor (plus another charge) for another prescription. Many of these can be bought across the counter in other countries. I know this is true, because I have relatives that live in other countries and take the same medications I do.

Medical facilities exploit people, by padding their bills. I was in the hospital once and needed sanitary napkins. They charge me $26.00 for a box of 12 and they were the type we used back in the 1940’s. I called back later and asked if I could get the franchise to furnished sanitary napkins for the hospital? I could go to the drug store and buy cheaper and better ones for $3.95 a box. Their answer was no. I really didn’t intend to, just wanted them to know I knew they were a bunch of crooks. When I had my handicapped Son in the hospital, he had restraints (made free by the Gray Ladies), they charged me $12.50 for each one. So I took them home with me, as they don’t use them again. What a waste. I have used them at various times since 1988, so I got my $25.00 dollars worth after all.

Insurance companies exploit our citizens. Since I was in the business for 35 years, I know this is true. The have raised the rates so high that most people can’t afford to pay for it, then more or less force you to take high deductibles in order to lower the rate a little. When you have a claim they act like you intended to have it. I have told them if I knew when I was going to have a claim, I would have waited and bought the coverage a month before the claim. If your credit record doesn’t suit them, they can refuse to write you coverage. Everyone doesn’t have a good credit record. Automobile insurance should go by your motor vehicle record. If you have had tickets, then you should charge for the tickets for the past 36 months, or fire insurance according to construction of the home and rate for the area. When people drive and they haven’t been able to afford coverage or their policy expired and they get caught, then the state feels a big fine is in order and they impound your car. Another big fine is in order to get it out. If you can’t afford to buy coverage and you can’t afford to get your car out of the pound, then it is sold, for more money for the establishment. Back again to GREED.

Automobile companies exploit our gullible citizens. Automobiles aren’t made a well as they were 50 years ago. All plastic (which helps the oil companies) and if you get clobbered you have to replace half of the vehicle. Every vehicle sold should have a 10 year guarantee in writing. Everyone should keep their vehicles and not trade them in every year. Vehicles cost more nowadays than a 4 bedroom home cost in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Carburetors were invented that I know of in the 1960’s that got 50 miles a gallon. They were bought up from the inventor by the oil and gas companies, GREED again on part of both parties. Our government if they really were looking out for their citizens would see that this is changed. Frankly they have no interest in the citizens of this (except the rich ones) country.

Banking facilities have gone to hell in a hand basket. Bank presidents steal, misuse funds and lie to clients and then act like they did nothing wrong. Many are now incarcerated but many are not. You can no longer get your checks back, you can’t get past records if needed. They don’t keep them, or so they tell me. Even if you offer to pay for them and their time. You are no longer important. Everyone wants you to bank electronically as if you don’t have sense enough to take care of your own business. Everyone doesn’t have a computer. Lots of people don’t have telephones, lots of people don’t have cars and they depend on the mail, which isn’t very reliable at times. It used to be nice to have your own bank, now all the big hogs are buying up all the little banks. Sort of like Walmart coming into town and running all the small businesses out of business. I don’t shop at Walmart’s. I hear they have a banking facility in house. Don’t know this for sure. All of our little hardware stores have fallen by the wayside, run out of business by Lowe’s and Home Depot. GREED again.

Credit card companies exploit people to the point of disgrace. They are the scum of the earth. No, I don’t owe a credit card company anything. But they are guilty of offering people cards and they take them, then if they are late paying a couple of times, they charge an outrageous late fee, then they double, then triple the interest rate. Which is usury. The practice of lending money at an exorbitant interest rate. The Bible states in Exodus, Chapter 22 vs. 25, “If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.” This applies to the banks also. The government does nothing about high interest rates with the banks, credit card companies or mortgage companies. The government and politicians are bought off by the lobbyist. Exodus, Chapter 23 vs. 8 “And thou shalt take no gift; for the gift blindeth the wise and perverteth the words of the righteous.” This applies to all the crooked politicians.

None of the people in our government are truthful. Some do not say anything, which is just as bad. I read somewhere, where someone said, “The truth lies buried in the darkness of the soul.” My husband once said, “The worst enemy that the people of any country has is it’s government and it’s leaders.” I have found this to be true. Another quote, by Gerald R. Ford, “Our constitution works. Our great republic is a government of laws, not of men.” William Jennings Bryan said, “The humblest citizen of all the land, when clad in the armor of a righteous cause, is stronger than all the hosts of error.” And another from Robert F. Kennedy, “Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope.”

I started out to ask questions and wound up making a lot of statements that I truly believe to be true. No one has proved me wrong yet. I will start on the Justice Department and the State of Texas another time.

The article I’m typing is from the Fort Worth Star Telegram, written by Steve Stockdale. It is a
Great article. I had to keep it and I re-read it every once in a while.

HONOR
The code of our country

■ In 21st-century America, honor is an option – not necessary, not sufficient, desirable only if it doesn’t jeopardize the bottom line.

I grew up playing sports in the Texas Panhandle. On my bedroom wall, I had a plaque inscribed with a then-famous Grantland Rice saying: “For when the one great scorer comes to write against your name, he marks – not that you won or lost – but how you played the game.”
I didn’t like to think I took that value to heart.
In 1972, my ability to throw a football, and a decent SAT score, earned me an appointment to the Air Force Academy. On the field, “how I played the game” warranted only a two-year intercollegiate career.
Off the field, I persevered to graduate. I attribute that in large part to my early-ingrained respect for how I (in the broader sense) “played the game.”
At the Air Force Academy, how you were supposed to play the game was enshrined in the cadet honor code: “We will not lie, steal, or cheat, nor tolerate among us anyone who does.”
Those first three will-nots were straightforward enough. The sticky wicket was that toleration thing, which meant that if you knew of an honor violation, we were bound by the code to report it.
If we didn’t report – if we tolerated a violation – we could be judged as guilty as the deed-doer, and expelled just as quickly.
What’s up with that?
I recollect the rationale as this: Honorable behavior breeds honorable behavior. Tolerating dishonorable behavior breeds more dishonorable behavior. Dishonorable behavior acts as an invasive cancer, eating away at integrity, trust, confidence and respect. It jeopardizes mission and thwarts duty.
In effect, the toleration clause means that honor trumps loyalty. Misguided loyalty results in blind faith. Trust rooted in honor is fully deserved and rewarded.
Simply not violation the will-nots doesn’t ensure that one has internalized a sense of honor – but it’s a start. The “end game” of the honor code is to develop officers, commanders and leaders whose character is clearly above reproach. “How you play the game” is integral to reaching the end game; the end is defined by the how.
Granted, some Air Force Academy cadets, and graduates, have not always brought honor to their institution. Periodic cheating scandals and worse, including the sexual assaults of recent years, cannot be condoned, rationalized or in any way tolerated.
But for those who continue at the service academies in Colorado Springs, West Point and Annapolis, honor is still taught and valued as the bedrock of their institutional cultures. At least they’re trying.
At least that’s what we were taught.
Yesterday, President Bush addressed the 2005 graduating class of the Naval Academy. Today, Gen. Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is scheduled to speak to the graduates at West Point. On Wednesday, Vice President Dick Cheney is scheduled to give the commencement address at my alma mater.
These three men will welcome 2,700 new lieutenants and ensigns to the “real” America that lies beyond the parade grounds, math blackboards and fields of friendly strife.
What might they say to these young officers to prepare them for what lies ahead? What pre-eminent American value should these future leaders embrace to guarantee success in the “real” America of the 21st century?
Just win, baby.
Whatever it takes. Make it happen. Ignore the rules. Make ‘em prove it. It’s not how, just how many. Failure’s not an option; admitting it isn’t, either.
Image is everything. Dress for success; line the right pockets. Say it is anyway. Claim a mandate. Perception is reality. Buy two flags: Wrap yourself in one, salute the other and they’ll love ya forever and ever. Amen.
Do the deal. Round it up. Make the numbers. Cork the bat. Shoot the ‘roids. Get the votes. Get the confession. Give ‘em his medal, but don’t tell ‘em it was our bullet.
And, dude – keep it real. Cause “it’s all good.”
In 21st-century America, honor is an option – not necessary, not sufficient, desirable only if it doesn’t jeopardize the bottom line. As an American value, it ranks a little above recycling but way below redistricting.
Americans talk a good game, but Col. Nathan R. Jessep had it right in A Few Good Men: We can’t handle the truth.
We’ve tolerated our vain hypocrisies, quibbles and misrepresentations for so long that we can’t distinguish fact from conviction, trust from hope, appearance from reality.

Honest Men

Honest men do not play with a stacked deck. This is what the Democrats are having to play against in Austin and Washington. You have the corporate prostitutes lobbying, political prostitutes led by former “Bug Man” Tom Delay (who is not really a lily white compassionate Christian as he claims), plus you have all the political and government prostitutes in Washington putting pressure on all the weak men of low character who were elected (under another stacked deck) to the Republican Party, all bought and paid for by corporations.

Greed and corruption have become a way of life for the majority of politicians. For some it has always been that way. From the lowest office to the highest. I can remember during the depression in THE 1930’s, politicians coming out to visit the farmers and offering them $2.00 up to $5.00 to vote for them, my Father would tell them, “if I wanted to vote for you I would and I wouldn’t have to be paid.” Of course the price has really gone up.

People wake up! Read, read your history, listen and investigate. Every time we have had a Republican president in office, we have gone in the hole. It is not sour grapes, it is a fact.

You can tell by the number of people voting, that they are not all at the polls. A lot of people consider our election process a sham and feel it doesn’t do any good to vote. The deck is already stacked. The common people weren’t allowed to elect a President. So the supposedly honest Supreme Court assigned their choice. But the majority of the people know what happened. The deck was really stacked.

To change the subject. The US Government is to manage Iraq’s oil production! Talk about the Fox guarding the hen house. Reminds me of the US Government managing the American Indians assets. This has been one of the most shameful things the government has been guilty of. My husband once said that the worst enemy that any country had was its government and leaders. Enough for now.

VERY INTERESTING CONVERSATION: It applies on this date 9/30/08

Subject: Conversation with Mr. Supinski

Jefferson, declared, "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them, will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Did Jefferson have a crystal ball when he spoke these words? Has a private bank taken control over our nation's money supply?

The following is a conversation with Mr. Ron Supinski of the Public Information Department of the San Francisco, Federal Reserve Bank. This is an account of that conversation reconstructed to the best of my ability from notes taken during the conversation on October 8, 1992.

CALLER - Mr. Supinski, does my country own the Federal Reserve System?

MR. SUPINSKI - We are an agency of the government.

CALLER - That's not my question. Is it owned by my country?

MR. SUPINSKI - It is an agency of the government created by congress.

CALLER - Is the Federal Reserve a Corporation?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes

CALLER - Does my government own any of the stock in the Federal Reserve?

MR. SUPINSKI - No, it is owned by the member banks.

CALLER - Are the member banks private corporations?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes

CALLER - Are Federal Reserve Notes backed by anything?

MR. SUPINSKI -Yes, by the assets of the Federal Reserve but, primarily by the power of congress to lay tax on the people.

CALLER - Did you say, by the power to collect taxes is what backs Federal Reserve Notes?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes

CALLER - What are the total assets of the Federal Reserve?

MR. SUPINSKI - The San Francisco Bank has $36 Billion in assets.

CALLER - What are these assets comprised of?

MR. SUPINSKI - Gold, the Federal Reserve Bank itself and government securities.

CALLER - What value does the Federal Reserve Bank carry gold per oz. on their books?

MR. SUPINSKI - I don't have that information but the San Francisco Bank has $1.6 billion in gold.

CALLER - Are you saying the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has $1.6 billion in gold, the bank itself and the balance of the assets is government securities?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes.

CALLER - Where does the Federal Reserve get Federal Reserve Notes from?

MR. SUPINSKI - They are authorized by the Treasury.

CALLER - How much does the Federal Reserve pay for a $10 Federal Reserve Note?

MR. SUPINSKI - Fifty to seventy cents.

CALLER - How much do they pay for a $100.00 Federal Reserve Note?

MR. SUPINSKI - The same fifty to seventy cents.

CALLER - To pay only fifty cents for a $100.00 is a tremendous gain, isn't it?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes

CALLER - According to the U.S. Treasury, the Federal Reserve pays $20.60 per 1,000 denomination or a little over two cents for a $100.00 bill, is that correct?

MR. SUPINSKI - That is probably close.

CALLER - Doesn't the Federal Reserve use the Federal Reserve Notes that cost about two cents each to purchase U.S. Bonds from the government?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes, but there is more to it than that.

CALLER - Basically, that is what happens?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes, basically you are correct.

CALLER - How many Federal Reserve Notes are in circulation?

MR. SUPINSKI - $263 billion and we can only account for a small percentage.

CALLER - Where did they go?

MR. SUPINSKI - Peoples mattress, buried in their back yards and illegal drug money.

CALLER - Since the debt is payable in Federal Reserve Notes, how can the $4 trillion national debt be paid-off with the total Federal Reserve Notes in circulation?

MR. SUPINSKI - I don't know.

CALLER - If the Federal Government would collect every Federal Reserve Note in circulation would it be mathematically possible to pay the $4 trillion national debt?

MR. SUPINSKI - No

CALLER - Am I correct when I say, $1 deposited in a member bank $8 can be lent out through Fractional Reserve Policy?

MR. SUPINSKI - About $7.

CALLER - Correct me if I am wrong but, $7 of additional Federal Reserve Notes were never put in circulation. But, for lack of better words were "created out of thin air " in the form of credits and the two cents per denomination were not paid either. In other words, the Federal Reserve Notes were not physically printed but, in reality were created by a journal entry and lent at interest. Is that correct?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes

CALLER - Is that the reason there are only $263 Billion Federal Reserve Notes in circulation?

MR. SUPINSKI - That is part of the reason.

CALLER - Am I mistaking that when the Federal Reserve Act was passed (on Christmas Eve) in 1913, it transferred the power to coin and issue our nations money and to regulate the value thereof from Congress to a Private corporation. And my country now borrows what should be our own money from the Federal Reserve (a private corporation) plus interest. Is that >correct
and the debt can never be paid off under the current money system of country?

MR. SUPINSKI - Basically, yes.

CALLER - I smell a rat, do you?

MR. SUPINSKI - I am sorry, I can't answer that, I work here.

CALLER - Has the Federal Reserve ever been independently audited?

MR. SUPINSKI - We are audited.

CALLER - Why is there a current House Resolution 1486 calling for a complete audit of the Federal Reserve by the G.A.O. and why is the Federal Reserve resisting?

MR. SUPINSKI - I don't know.

CALLER - Does the Federal Reserve regulate the value of Federal Reserve Notes and interest rates?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes

CALLER - Explain how the Federal Reserve System can be Constitutional if, only the Congress of the U.S., which comprises of the Senate and the House of Representatives has the power to coin and issue our money supply and regulate the value thereof? [Article 1 Section 1 and Section 8] Nowhere, in the Constitution does it give Congress the power or authority to transfer any powers granted under the Constitution to a private corporation or, does it?

MR. SUPINSKI - I am not an expert on constitutional law. I can refer you to our legal department.

CALLER - I can tell you I have read the Constitution. It does NOT provide that any power granted can be transferred to a private corporation. Doesn't it specifically state, all other powers not granted are reserved to the States and to the citizens? Does that mean to a private corporation?

MR. SUPINSKI - I don't think so, but we were created by Congress.

CALLER - Would you agree it is our country and it should be our money as provided by our Constitution?

MR. SUPINSKI - I understand what you are saying.

CALLER - Why should we borrow our own money from a private consortium of bankers? Isn't this why we had a revolution, created a separate sovereign nation and a Bill of Rights?

MR. SUPINSKI - (Declined to answer).

CALLER - Has the Federal Reserve ever been declared constitutional by the Supreme Court?

MR. SUPINSKI - I believe there has been court cases on the matter.

CALLER - Have they been Supreme Court Cases?

MR. SUPINSKI - I think so, but I am not sure.

CALLER - Didn't the Supreme Court declare unanimously in A.L.A. Schechter Poultry Corp. vs. U.S. and Carter vs. Carter Coal Co. the corporative-state arrangement an unconstitutional delegation of legislative power? ["The power conferred is the power to regulate. This is legislative delegation in its most obnoxious form; for it is not even delegation to >an official or an official body, presumptively disinterested, but to private persons." Carter vs. Carter Coal Co.]

MR. SUPINSKI - I don't know, I can refer you to our legal department.

CALLER - Isn't the current money system a house of cards that must fall because, the debt can mathematically never be paid-off?

MR. SUPINSKI - It appears that way. I can tell you have been looking into this matter and are very knowledgeable. However, we do have a solution.

CALLER - What is the solution?

MR. SUPINSKI - The Debit Card.

CALLER - Do you mean under the E.F.T. Act (Electronic Funds Transfer)? Isn't that very frightening, when one considers the capabilities of computers? It would provide the government and all it's agencies, including the Federal Reserve such information as: You went to the gas station @ 2:30 and bought $10.00 of unleaded gas @ $1.41 per gallon and then you went to the grocery store @ 2:58 and bought bread, lunch meat and milk for $12.32 and then went to the drug store @ 3:30 and bought cold medicine for $5.62. In other words, they would know where we go, when we went, how much we paid, how much the merchant paid and how much profit he made. Under the E.F.T. they will literally know everything about us. Isn't that kind of scary?

MR. SUPINSKI - Yes, it makes you wonder.

CALLER - I smell a GIANT RAT that has overthrown my constitution. Aren't we paying tribute in the form of income taxes to a consortium of private bankers?

MR. SUPINSKI - I can't call it tribute, it is interest.

CALLER - Haven't all elected officials taken an oath of office to preserve and defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic? Isn't the Federal Reserve a domestic enemy?

MR. SUPINSKI - I can't say that.

CALLER - Our elected officials and members of the Federal Reserve are guilty of aiding and abetting the overthrowing of my Constitution and that is treason. Isn't the punishment of treason death?

MR. SUPINSKI - I believe so.

CALLER - Thank you for your time and information and if I may say so, I think you should take the necessary steps to protect you and your family and withdraw your money from the banks before the collapse, I am.

MR. SUPINSKI - It doesn't look good.

CALLER - May God have mercy on the souls who are behind this unconstitutional and criminal act called the Federal Reserve. When the ALMIGHTY MASS awakens to this giant hoax, they will not take it with a grain of salt. It has been a pleasure talking to you and I thank you for your time. I hope you will take my advice before it does collapse.

MR. SUPINSKI - Unfortunately, it does not look good.

CALLER - Have a good day and thanks for your time.

MR. SUPINSKI - Thanks for calling.

If the reader has any doubts to the validity of this conversation, call your nearest Federal Reserve Bank, YOU KNOW THE QUESTIONS TO ASK! You won't find them listed under the Federal Government. They are in the white pages, along with Federal Express, Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), and any other business. Find out for yourself if all this is true. And then, go to your local law library and look up the case of Lewis vs. U.S., case #80-5905, 9th Circuit, June 24, 1982. It reads in part: "Examining the organization and function of the Federal Reserve Banks and applying the relevant factors, we conclude that the federal reserve are NOT federal instrumentalities . . . but are independent and privately owned and controlled corporations . . . federal reserve banks are listed neither as `wholly owned' government corporations [under 31 U.S.C. Section 846] nor as 'mixed ownership' corporations [under 31 U.S.C. Section 856] . . .

28 U.S.C. Sections 1346(b), 2671. `Federal agency' is defined as: the executive departments, the military departments, independent >establishments of the United States, and corporations acting primarily as instrumentalities of the United States, but does not include any contractors with the United States . . .

There are no sharp criteria for determining whether an entity is a federal agency within the meaning of the Act, but the critical factor is the existence of the federal government control over the `detailed physical performance' and `day to day operations' of that entity. Other factors courts have considered include whether the entity is an independent corporation . . . whether the government is involved in the entity's finances, . . . and whether the mission of the entity furthers the policy of the United States . . . Examining the organization and function of the Federal Reserve Banks, and applying the relevant factors, we conclude that the Reserve Banks are not federal instrumentalities . . .

It is evident from the legislative history of the Federal Reserve Act >that Congress did not intend to give the federal government direction over the daily operation of the Reserve Banks . . .

The fact that the Federal Reserve Board regulates the Reserve Banks does not make them federal agencies under the Act . . . Unlike typical federal agencies, each bank is empowered to hire and fire employees at will. Bank employees do not participate in the Civil Service Retirement System. They are covered by worker's compensation insurance, purchased by the Bank, rather than the Federal Employees Compensation Act. Employees traveling on Bank business are not subject to federal travel regulations and do not receive government employee discounts on lodging and services . . .

Finally, the Banks are empowered to sue and be sued in their own name.12 U.S.C. Section 341. They carry their own liability insurance and typically process and handle their own claims . . ."

According to the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, "When the Federal Reserve was created, its stock was sold to the member banks." ("The Hats The Federal Reserve Wears", published by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia)

The original Stock-holders of the Federal Reserve Banks in 1913 were the Rockefeller's, J.P. Morgan, Rothschild's, Lazard Freres, Schoellkopf, Kuhn-Loeb, Warburgs, Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs.

The MONEY-CHANGERS wanted to be insured they had a monopoly over our Money supply, so Congress passed into law Title 12, Section 284 of the United States Code. Section 284 specifically states, "NO STOCK ALLOWED TO THE U.S."

* Monopoly - "A privilege or peculiar advantage vested in one or more persons or companies, consisting in the exclusive right (or power) to carry on a particular business or trade, manufacture a particular article, or control the sale of the whole supply of a particular commodity, A form of market structure in which only a few firms dominate the total sales of a product or service.

`Monopoly', as prohibited by Section 2 of the Sherman Antitrust Act, has two elements: possession of a monopoly power in relevant market and willful acquisition or maintenance of that power, as distinguished from growth or development as a consequence of a superior power, business acumen, or historical product. A monopoly condemned by the Sherman Act is the power to fix prices, or exclude competition, coupled with policies designed to use and preserve that power." (Black's Law Dictionary, 6th Edition)

The Federal Reserve Act goes one step farther, "No Senator or Representative in Congress shall be a member of the Federal Reserve Board or an officer or director of a Federal Reserve Bank." They didn't want We The People to have any say in the operation of their monopoly through our elected officials.
