Sad Remark

Today, I heard Sen. John Cornyn of Texas say Judge
Sotomayor’s record is medium at best! I have heard over l00 people more qualified than he say, her record on the bench was better than any of the Judge’s now sitting on The Supreme Court before they got there. He has constantly harped on her remark, not made on the bench,
“A wise, latina woman, could do as well as a white male”. In whatever manner she was referring to, as she spoke to a group of young latina women about their future. I was told by, my Father, you can do that as well as the boys, I could and did, something’s better. I have seen many women do a better job than men in all fields. White males do not have do not have the patent on brains. Where they got the idea I don’t know, unless their Mother’s told them how smart they were.

I also heard him say he voted his conscience and what his constituents wanted. A few maybe, but Texas is 75% poor and middle class. When anything comes up for a vote that would help the poor and middle class, I watch as that sucker votes NO! But he isn’t the only one from of our hoard of politicians from Texas.

Public Option

But we have a problem. I listen to the deafening roar above all things of our politicians and companies about the cost of healthcare reform. I watch as they dance around the floor and try to overlook the pile of doodoo in the middle floor. No one mentions how easy it would be to really cut cost. That pile consists of their hold on the extra goodies. It is the fraud and price gouging by the insurance, pharmaceutical, medical supply companies and many medical professional. The roar is because our politicians and companies do not want to change this practice of avarice. Our politicians are being bought off and paid under the table by lobbyists and they like the money.

Avarice has a terrible stink from the doodoo in Washington. It has been there a long time. Healthcare alone won’t clean it up, but it’s a start. Clinton (rather Hillary did) tried, but had to give up the fight. No one else tried until Barack Obama came along. He will not give up the fight, but he damn sure is gonna have to step on more toe’s than he has so far. Trying to go about it in a fairly nice way will not get it done. The one’s who are fighting him do not give a rat’s rear end about what is good for all the people, only their self. I knew that before he got started. At 82 I’m older than dirt and for 61 years I have watched politicians. All of them, but especially the one’s from the South. They all thought they were born to rule the world. I wish he could mandate a price control from one end of this country to the other on everything. Then make a concerted effort to control the fraud. That would take care of 50% of our total budget. Next stop all the fighting dead in its tracks and bring our men home. And never do it again, unless they beg for our help. Stop trying to conquer outer space, which has been a waste of time other than spying on other nations. We might be able to get back on our feet.

Democrats, Republicans and Independents

July 6, 2009

Democrats, Republicans and Independents:

Many of you will not take the time to read what an ordinary citizen has to say. I have written to politicians asking questions, some have answered, but not about what I asked, but mouthing something about something they were working on and trying to pass or they ignored it altogether, their regular form letter.

I am an older than dirt white woman, born in the deep- south, Buhl, Alabama in 1927. I have followed the workings of the government all my life. Having lived through the first depression, a lot of it I didn’t like, but kept hoping for the best. Lots, of ups and downs. We have had some fairly good presidents and some very bad ones. I will say: all the republicans put us in the hole.

Everyone has there own opinion and here is mine. When we the citizens vote for a politician, we expect them to work for us. They do not; they work for themselves, their wealthy friends and large corporations. The, majority of them are on the take from the lobbyists for corporations, and you will find that many have stock in these companies. In lieu of working together for the betterment of our country, both democrats and republicans work against each other, with, “one-up-man-ship”. You remind me of a bunch of spoiled brats, “My way is better than yours”.

Or like the Shiite’s and Sunni, in Iraq. They have fought since year God one. Why? No one knows, I guess just trying to prove, one is right and the other is wrong. Well
Republicans and Democrats all of you have a problem!
You are supposed to be working for us, not telling us how to live our private lives, whether we should have an abortion or not. That is between an individual and God.
Ones religion is a private matter, unless you have become his emissary like the Pope claims and you can walk that last mile for us to meet the real JUDGE. Leave religion out of your politics. None of you are real honest to God Christians anyway, as your actions show.

Politicians are like religious leaders. When each of the different denominations started their religion, they all claimed it was founded on the Bible. But how can that be? It can’t be true, as they are all different. The majority of their rules are all man-made, as most of the Bible was told or written by men, as they thought things should be, not by God. In fact most people in those days could not read. They just understood the spoken word. The leaders of the various churches carried on this tradition. In fact today various, religions, still read to the people and tell them what to believe. They all claim they are right and through, them is, the only way to make it to the golden gate upstairs. Politicians do the same thing. Hey, the most of us can read and understand on our own. You are not up there to tell the citizens what, to do, you are there to do the job the citizens ask you to do, for the good of all. No matter the political party, religion, race or anything else that you don’t like about people. You go to find the answers about how to fix what we want done.

What we elected you for and what you get paid for, is a lot more than you are worth. You waste too much of our taxpayer dollars fighting with each other over whom is right. My husband once said, “It is a sad, sad day, when one outlives the truth in their lifetime”. Now I know for a fact many of you lie like dogs and never tell the truth you exaggerate the facts, and keep repeating them long and loud, thinking people will believe you. Some do, the ones that elected you, as they thought you were ethical and truthful people. But in my 61 years of voting I have found most of you to be a bunch of CON MEN and are, in politics, as it is a free and easy way to make money and play big shots in your home state. Most of you have a dark side in your soul filled with avarice and greed. You cheat the citizens that you are supposed to represent. You do not work for the common good of the little man. You work for the rich that cheat on their taxes in every way imaginable.

You travel all over the world to other countries, when basically that is not part of your duties. It costs the taxpayers. We have certain politicians that are assigned to do this, but I have seen many of you go and I knew you had no business going. It is a waste of time and money. You also waste time going back and forth to your home state, to supposedly talk to your constituents.
I have watched you and you do not go, county to county to talk to the people. You visit with elected officials and wealthy friends and corporations of the state and talk about things you and they want certain bills to be voted on to be passed. Have big photo sessions, so they can be put in the papers to show you were there. I watch our Texas republican politicians, as the vote; I always see a big NO by the Republicans for anything that applies to the poor and middle class. Yet you say I work for all the constituents of my state; that is not true. Haven’t you guys lived long enough too have learned truth is the best policy?

Every one of you needs to work with this President to see if he can help get this country straightened out. Reagan started some of this mess. He spent like a drunken sailor. He started deregulating. I will never forget what he did to the air traffic controllers. He helped start our troubles in the mid-east with the help of the perennial politician, the first Bush. I blame Bush and his friends in the oil business for many of our problems in that area. When he became president and his oil rich friends in Kuwait had a problem with Iraq. DESERT STORM! He had to protect his buddies, at our expense and more problems. He had been trying to set up his political and oil dynasty for years. He put us further in the hole. Clinton came along and even with all the republicans fighting him, he brought us out of part of the hole we were in. The second Bush came along. I love when you republicans talk about voter fraud. That was the biggest fraud I have ever seen. He went in to carry on daddy’s legacy, and keep his eye on the middle-east oil. We had 9/11. Iraq didn’t have anything to do with that. But he started a never-ending war there. That country had had enough problems fighting among themselves. Bush went after Saddam with a passion. I will never forget his childish remark about Saddam, “He tried to kill my daddy”. He also spent like a drunken sailor. Put us back in the hole were are in now. In the mean time, no one paid any attention to our financial world. Every ones friends were getting richer and no one gave a tinker’s damn until the bottom fell out. Then they tried to patch it up by giving more money to the people who helped perpetuate our downfall. All of you, who have been there for all these years, know the history, plus many of you know parts that never got out to the common people. (I know a lot of those parts, also and it is sickening). So far, no jail time for the white collar guys who did the dastardly deeds.

Barack Obama inherited this mess. Young though he is, he has known for a long time that this country was headed for trouble and had been for a long time. After only a short time in the senate, he saw that no one was really trying to fix it. This young man coming from what many “white people” would call the worst background in the world. Came with a set of ethics and integrity that surpasses any man I have seen aspire for the office of President. I am proud to refer to him, as MY PRESIDENT, which I have never done before. I do pray that he succeeds and that power does not corrupt him with the terrible disease of AVARICE.

Many of you with all the advantages in the world at your disposal did nothing, other than keep lining your pockets and aspiring for more power, and disagreeing with the other “SIDE”, whatever that means. Actually, it doesn’t mean a damn thing. Republicans mouth this old morality bit, claim to be for small government, say democrats are for big government and spend too much money. That’s a crock!
Either many of you cannot read or understand the balance sheet. There is no difference in either side, except the republicans do spend more than the democrats. You all do pork barrel politics and claim it is the other side. You all talk about the other side’s morals. All of you are guilty. I have found in all my years that the democrats, do more for the common people and republicans hang with the rich. That, is the unadulterated TRUTH, so don’t claim otherwise.

If the Republicans and some of the Democrats will not work with this President and help him for all our benefit in lieu of constantly bad mouthing him with all the false propaganda, we need to have a lot of unemployed politicians.

If this gets worse, I think a good idea would be to have the Government, close down and take over. All banks, mortgage companies, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, accounting firms, stockbrokers, airline companies, automobile companies, and put price controls on all these things all over the U.S., and the list goes on. (State agencies are in bad shape. Having worked in the insurance industry 35 years, I will tell you the Texas Insurance department is as crooked as hell.) All of them are rife with greed and corruption.
Private enterprise is great, but as they get bigger and wealthy, they get more corrupt. They forget that they can’t exist without the rest of us individuals who use their facilities, services and products and there are more of us than there are of them. I can remember when we didn’t have to use a lot of those conglomerates. 95% of us were poor, and 95% of us still are. Now, for you guys: We need to cut your pensions and put you on social security, cut out you medical benefits, as I know that you make enough money to pay for your benefits (as you do not want to give benefits to the poor) and cut your traveling expenses. You need to stay up there and work. I watch you when a bill comes up to be voted on, you rumble around the floor like you were at a social gathering, shaking hands, patting each on the back, trying to talk each other into voting your way on a bill, (you know, you vote my way and I will vote on your bill when it comes up). All you needed was a cocktail glass in your hand and one would think you were at the county club, instead of supposedly doing serious business for the people and country.

Our companies that have gone to other countries to make and manufacture goods and ship back over here are strictly for greed. They exploit other countries by using their people and pay very low wages and taxes. All they are interested in is their bottom line. They shouldn’t be able to call themselves American citizens. We should not allow them to ship their junk back to us. We do not need to have the junk they ship to the United States. We have spoiled our children rotten by buying the toys they manufacture. And we are stupid for buying all the other stuff.

As I said before, we need to set a price on all things sold in the United States. Especially: anything to do with, the medical profession. Medical profession is wrought with fraud, at least 50%. I’ve been there, done that. If we could get rid of the fraud in all of our government dealings, our budget would drop at least 50%. Other country’s that has national healthcare does a better job than we do. I have relatives that live in countries that have national healthcare. I have a niece who married a journalist from, Spain. She came to visit me with her 2 children for the summer. One son got appendicitis, she took him to the hospital and called to Spain, they told her to have the hospital fax the bills and they would pay them. They did with no problem. When her Father went to visit her, he couldn’t use his Medicare. And we keep bragging about how great we are. We are not; we are just greedier. We can’t even get or keep good doctors anymore, their excuse is they can’t make enough money with all the expenses, to bad we can’t pay them with food products like we did when I was a child and lived on a farm. They were glad to get it, and made house calls way out in the country, handled everything. They specialized in everything. They were real, not generic. It was for their love of humanity. Not anymore none become, physicians for their love of humanity, only for the jingle of Midas. We have as many doctors and nurses from countries as we do home grown. I have worked in this profession when my husband was going to law school. I had him and 4 children in school, so the 11pm to 7am shift at Parkland hospital in Dallas was ideal for my circumstances. This was in the days when we still had white and colored water fountains and restrooms. Some, doctors were great others had an aversion to different races.

Since we have all these useless good for nothing politicians who live on the tax payers dole for all their lives and can’t get rid of any of them, without them going out into the world, if they do not get re-elected and start to work for large companies as lobbyist to work in the halls of congress, bribing the politicians that are still there. Like the Jerk that pushed through the last addition to Medicare, with every ones blessing, which made the insurance companies richer. He then left and went to work for one of the big pharmaceutical companies for over a million a year. I remember Bush bragging about what a great thing it was for seniors. That was the biggest fraud perpetuated on the senior citizens that I have seen in a long time. Remember there are more of us than there are of you, and if you don’t start working for all of us. As all of you know the natives are getting restless. REVOLUTION IS STILL AN OPTION.

Not many people, especially from large companies and government have any pride in doing a job well done anymore. I, really think if you politicians want to keep you job, its time to learn to the truthful, ethical and do a good job. People will finally get wise to all of you one of these days and when election time comes around again you might get the axe. I know a lot of democrats and republicans who should have gotten the axe a long time ago. We have some that are so old and decrepit, they can hardly get around. Many have never passed any bills that have helped anyone. They put in a lot of pork and get it through under the table for their state, so that their constituents will keep electing them. Robert Byrd of WV is one of them. We had some others that nearly had to be carried out.

Many of you are very well educated due to your back-ground and never did an honest days work in your life.
Many worked like slave to get their education. Many are overeducated with no common sense. Becoming a politician was an easy way to make a living. Many became a politician because they thought they could help. Many who were not corrupt, became corrupt, as it was lack of character. Many keep fighting for the right thing to do. Others give up and take the easy road.Being intelligent is good, but I remember a quote from Alexis Carrel (1873-1944) “Intelligence is almost useless to the person whose only quality it is”.

The Voice of Reason

For the first time we have a president, who speaks with the VOICE OF REASON. Many people do not listen. I listen and for the first time, I refer to him as My President. He speaks with the voice of truth, but people have not heard the truth before, so they do not recognize it. Maybe it is because I am old and waited for such a person as he to come along, a man with integrity, truth and a voice of reason.
Everyone in this country has known what was wrong in our government. No one before had really tried to fix it.
The reason – it would tear up their playhouse. All the easy money and power. It was always easier to put the blame on someone else, as they continued to line their pockets and get richer if they did nothing, so that is what they did. It has been the understanding of all the citizens when they elected the politicians it was for them to represent each of us. Not true – they represent all their wealthy friends and corporations, who by the way get everything they want from the government. All our politicians get the best benefits in the country, all paid for by the taxpayers. The insurance companies have become very wealthy and with to much power over its clients. Pharmaceutical companies have done the same thing. The go outside the United States and have drugs manufactured for little of nothing, bring them back into our country and sell them for the most outrageous price. The same drugs that they manufacture are sold in other countries for 40, 50, 60 and 80 percent less than what we pay for them in the United States. I have family that live in Mexico and Spain, They have checked the price of the drugs that I have to get for my family and one year, with prescriptions from my doctor for a 12 month supply I saved nearly $5,000 but now with a crack down by the government it is hard to get them shipped. Their excuse was, they might not be good. But the ones I got were made by the same company that I bought here. Some drugs you have to have a prescription for in this country, you can buy over the counter in other countries.
Here we have to have prescriptions for nearly all our medicines and they will write only a 30 day supply and you have to call in or go to the doctor for another prescription. These are medicines that one has to take all their lives. I found out many years ago, that medicine wasn’t about ones love of humanity, but the jingle of Midas.
Health care reform will be fought by most politicians, insurance companies, American Medical Association, hospitals, nursing homes, medical supply companies and all who do not want to change their life style.
Banks and all financial institutions do not like the new regulations, as they also do not want to change their life style. Money from lobbyists will be moving like wildfire, and all will have a hand out for their share.
When people get the power to do as they wish, they will not give it up without a fight. The best description of this sickness in mankind: Avarice, insatiable greed for riches; inordinate, miserly desire to gain and hoard wealth. Avariciousness, covetous, greedy, suggest a desire to possess more of something than one needs or is entitled to. Avaricious often implies a pathological, driven greediness for money or other valuables and usually suggests a concomitant miserliness: An avaricious usurer. Covetous implies a powerful and often illicit desire for the property or possessions of another: Greedy, the most general of these terms, suggests an uncontrolled desire for almost anything, greedy for knowledge, greedy for power. (Webster’s Dictionary).
This applies to all the people who will not listen to the VOICE OF REASON for change for the betterment of our country and its people. Their attitude is “screw you I got mine” and they do not give a tinker’s damn about the rest of the world. I wish the President could mandate a price control on all things, so that they were the same throughout the United States. If we could eliminate the fraud in all facets of our government it would bring down our annual budget 50%. We can always hope and wish for the common good of all mankind.
Finally, if we could have real justice in our country, many of our problems would be solved.

Water Priates

April 30, 2009

WATER PIRATES:

We have Pirates on Water and now we have Pirates of Water. In the form of T. Boone Pickens and Clayton Williams, with the help of ousted speaker of the house, Tom Craddick. I have been in all areas that these men are trying to steal. It is good for men to labor and prosper that is the way of life, but not at the expense of other people by sucking the water out from under their land that they own and pay taxes on and their families and ancestors have for hundreds of years. This is their livelihood, their crops, cattle or any kind of stock. Most are people he has known all his life, might have considered friends, as they might have him. But what he is trying to do now will never garner him a kind word. He is in an area of the country where I spent part of my young life and know well. Balmorhea pool was the height of a summer day, even though we had to drive 45 miles from Pecos to swim. Wade in what we called Phantom Lakes those many years ago. This was the only excess water in that part of the country. Pecos River had a few pools big enough to swim in sometimes, the rest not much, never enough water. The Concho down close to San Angelo you could swim and wade in some areas. Most other places you found water was the stock tanks, but always with snakes. If it was hot enough you ran the snakes out or shot them and went right in. NEVER enough water. I have ridden horses all over that country. It is beautiful country, not the greenest in the world. But the people who settled there, molded their lives to the land and learned to love it. They have improved it in many ways to make life better for them and their children, as the world progressed. When I talk about that part of Texas that people have never been to they think it is another country.

Clayton Williams has lived in that part of the country all his life. Born in Alpine, went to A&M, got a degree in animal husbandry. We used to think most people who went to A&M, were interested in the land, agriculture, farming, cattle and ranching. But has tried his hand at many things even politics. He more than most knows that there is no abundance of water. In some places enough to get by and in other places, never enough. He should also know more than most to conserve and protect what there is.

I thought I had seen a lot of low down things by Texas politicians. I have and so has all other Texans. But this is the lowest of low. We have had land grabbers, oil and gas bandits, corporate raiders and now water pirates.

The piracy bill 4805, proposed by would be governor Clayton Williams, sponsored by the ousted speaker of the house, Tom Craddick. This new bill gives power to the new district to do basically anything it wants to acquire, store, sell, water and sewage within 130 miles of Midland in the counties of Pecos, Crane Upton, Ector or Midland. The new entity can also use water or sewage it obtains for oil flooding “or other useful purpose”.

The new district will have power of eminent domain and can issue bonds without any election or vote than that of the members…Can also tax under some conditions (would you want to be taxed by the district so it can build pipelines to take all the fresh water it wants and sell it to whoever it wants, including oil flooding…for example??)
This will be seen as a “local bill”, so other members don’t really get involved in the discussion. It is being to House
Natural Resources which is chaired by Allen Ritter, (Nederland).

When I think of the evil that men do and have all through our history, it never ceases to amaze me the reason for their actions. I sum it up in one word AVARICE, it is a terrible disease of the soul. I am sure both Clayton Williams and Boone Pickens have enough money, that neither want for anything and damn sure don’t need the water, only as another way to make money. Maybe Pickens needs it for his wife’s wild mustangs (the people that they want to steal water from need it for the same purpose). Williams will use it for his oil and gas business.
Politics is a nasty business. 99.6% of politicians are consumed with Avarice, Texas I know is. They do not get rich off of taxpayers welfare (their salary, benefits, perks and pensions) in fact they do not even earn it. They make their money doing favors for wealthy friends and corporations all under the table and on the side. They wind up with stock in all the big money corporations. This is not random dreaming, these are facts, they know it, I know it and so does all the rest of Texas. All of them live under this self deception!! It is always someone else who does the bad things (democrats). They go around smiling, glad handing, back patting with a shiny face and a do-gooder smile on their face, always covered by this veneer, hiding the dark side of their soul. I do not mean that they do not do charitable things, but always for show, plus a tax write off. Williams made lots of contributions to A&M, including underwriting half the cost for an alumni center, which bears his name. The one that sort of befuddled me. He was founder and director of the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute, which is dedicated to the study of desert animals and plants of southwest Texas and Mexico. Maybe he found out how the animals and plants can live without water and that is the reason he wants to suck everyone’s water from under ground, as he knows they can adapt.
Does he expect to live in a country where he has lived all his life and think people will accept what he is trying to do? Take their water (the life blood of a country like west Texas) by hook or crook and then good old EMINENT DOMAIN is they don’t agree. I know that law and there is no way in hell that it applies. It is already being applied by the people for their personal, private and public use, schools, hospitals, some towns might now be able to have a community pool for kids (I can remember when they didn’t).
I have a landowners bill of rights and I have used it. It is the old range law. SADDLE YOUR HORSES, LOAD YOUR RIFLES AND PROTECT YOUR CASTLE. Mine was over a gas pipeline. If it had been my water, that is another story and no one would have liked the ending. I hope the people in all that country lock their gates, patrol their fences and wait for them like they would a herd of elephants and felt no different than if they were. Which frankly they remind me of a bunch of marauders or pirates.
Since Williams and Pickens have so much money and want water enough to take it from the citizens of Texas by the sleazy ruse of public use, why don’t they go to the oceans on all 3 sides of the US and build plants to remove the salt and pipe it where ever they want it to go, to work with their oil and gas drilling, as I am sure that’s what they have in mind, as that is their forte.
Since Craddick was ousted as speaker he went back to Midland and is a sales representative for Mustang Mud, an oilfield supply company, also a real estate speculator and developer. I hate that name and hated when that file came to my desk. We handled their insurance in Dallas.
I know his background, and I know how much he was disliked as speaker of the house, accept by a few. In 1975 Craddick was names chairman of the House Naturals Resources Committee, the first republican to have chaired a Texas legislative committee in more than a century, and in 2003, after thirty-four years in the House, Craddick became the first Republican Speaker in more than 230 years. Seems he is calling in favors, as all politicians do. You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours. He has a lot of Republican friends of the same ilk.
Pickens is not well liked anyplace. He is not a real Texan. He was born in Oklahoma. (But in December 2008 the Texas Legislative Conference honored him “Texan of the Year”). Known as the take-over artist. Takes over or raids any company he can get his hands on. His takeovers put many independent oil producers out of business. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M with a degree in geology and went to work for Phillips Petroleum. Stayed for a while then, went wildcatting. He founded a company that would later be known as Mesa Petroleum. Mesa grew into one of the largest independent oil companies in the world. He shifted his focus to acquiring oil and gas companies. He spent much of the decade targeting undervalued companies, making solicited and unsolicited buyout bids and other merger and acquisition activity. This made him a celebrity during the ‘deal-making’ 80s. Gulf Oil, Unocal, Cities Service and Phillips Petroleum, these were attempted buyouts. I know for sure in Bartlesville, Washington county, Oklahoma, many hated him a like a rattlesnake. His marauding and raiding went on.
Pickens founded BP Energy Fund, now BP Capital Management. He kept his finger in every pie and every energy company and attached his name to every moneyed company, group and institution he could. Pickens made many donations to Oklahoma State U. They have the Boone Pickens Stadium. He spearheaded an extremely controversial effort to create an athletic village just north of the existing campus. In order to do so, hundreds of homes were acquired by the OSU administration via eminent domain and demolished using Pickens contributions. 66% of his donations have been toward athletics. And many academic gifts, particularly to the School of Geology, which is named for him. Got his name on everything he could. Much of the moneys given to OSU, was invested into BP Capital in Dallas. Pickens goes into anything new in regard to energy. Most would help his personal financial position.
Pickens, company, Mesa Water, bought ground water rights for 200,000 acres in Roberts County, Texas. Over CBS he made the comment, “I know what people say—water’s a lot like air, Do you charge for air? ‘Course not; you shouldn’t charge for water,’says Pickens.’Well, OK, watch what happens. You won’t have any water.” Shows to go you—people like this do not give a tinker’s damn about other people. In 1997 Pickens Fuel Corp. was formed and he began touting natural gas as the best vehicular fuel alternative because it is a domestic resource that is clean-burning. The company now owns and operates natural gas fueling stations from British Columbia to the Mexican border. Pickens thinks the US is down near to the bottom of the barrel, as for as oil is concerned, or so he said. But, he will be drilling again and they have to have the water to help.
Since the Village Idiot is out of the White House and in Dallas, I note all the big oil friends are gathering around, there will be drilling in Texas and elsewhere. I think Bush still has his eye on Iraq oil. But people could be lucky enough that all those macho cowboy’s warranties could expire soon. Let’s hope so. Some of us still remember when there was such a thing as integrity, truth, ethics, common decency, man’s word was his bond and a handshake between men was a contract. Williams, Pickens and Craddick never had the integrity to start with.

Bill 4805, is being slipped through or trying to be, so as to go unnoticed. Sort of like Governor Perry slipped a bill through to remove funds from the Texas Unemployment Funds to transfer to his Texas Enterprise Fund.

It feels good to vent my spleen.

Texas Seceding

April 22, 2009

BIG:

Yes, Texas is a big state! To big. Many want the federal government to cease and desist, they don’t want help, leave us alone or we will secede. Which is not an option. They really don’t want them to cease either. They will take every dime and ask for more, always have. Perry and friends just want all the cash, not designated for a specific cause with strings. They want it all to do with as they please as they have other designated funds within the state.

I do agree, they need their own state. So now is the time to take the only option they have. Divide into 5 states. Put all of them in one state, sort of like parents kicking out their useless grown spoiled children they have supported all their life (parents welfare), like career politicians living off the taxpayers welfare and everything they get on the side and under the table. Let them make it on their own in their sovereign state, with no representation or involvement in the federal government or other states. Sort of like we did the original citizens the American Indians, they weren’t considered citizens for a long time. All other Texans who did not want to live in Perry’s sovereign state, could chose which of the remaining 4 states they wanted to live in. If they preferred to remain in the United States fine, their choice, it not same rules for the sovereign one who didn’t want to be a part of us.
No traveling except within your border. Political posturing, like the guy with the big hair that runs North Korea. Everything he wants, while his citizens suffer. But boy he takes all he can get, but still doesn’t appreciate it. Perry and friends might not appreciate it but the poor and downtrodden in Texas do. Of course that will be no interstate or international travel. Like we did Cuba and North Korea does itself.

Perry’s Tea Bag Party.

Governor Perry’s Tea Bag Party.

The mess in Texas on April 15, 2009 and around the rest of the world was kind of sad to see. Adults who are supposedly intelligent acting like a bunch of spoiled kids who had just had all their privileges and allowances removed for their bad behavior. Perry wants to secede from the union! That is not an option. He thinks all the citizens of Texas agree with him. They didn’t draw as many fans as Willie Nelson or a Brittany Spears concert. He has yet to realize that all people in Texas aren’t all republicans, stamped with his brand or addicted to him.

Perry wants to be like the little guy with the big hair who runs North Korea and have his only private country, where he can do whatever he wants and all the citizens suffer. Texas is big alright, but not as big as the rest of this country. Many of our macho Texas governors have wanted to be head honcho for what goes on in the United States. Texas had it’s chance, 4 times. Two men actually born in Texas and 2 pretenders to the cowboy hats, 1 born in Massachusetts and 1 born in Connecticut, became president.

One a crooked democrat, who was so crooked he couldn’t lay straight in bed and could straddle a split rail fence without getting a splinter. Became President when the one in office was shot. He did sign into the civil rights that the previous president had started on 7/2/64 (which was kind of odd, as some of the properties he had owned he put in the deed they could never be sold to a black person), shows to go you what a person will do to get elected or stay in office. And he did sign into law the Medicare bill on 7/30/65. These 2 things were is his only legacy that was good for the citizens.

Eisenhower, reworked our transportation system, his only legacy. He was military, but for me and many others he had a black mark on his record from 1932, along with MacArthur and Patton.

Bush 1, another career politician with a lot of goodies on the side. War and debt and a bad taste in the mouths of other countries, except Saudi and Kuwait. Lot of favors for them, but none for us. No legacy

Bush 2, All he left was 2 wars he started, dead people everywhere and he still didn’t get to take charge of the oil, but never fear he and his groupies will keep trying. He really made us hated around the world, left us with a totally broken country, worst than most, but all republican president left us with a big debt, yet they believe in small government and can handle things better than anybody else. Bull crap. He left his mess for someone else to try to put back in order. He was a spoiled brat, used to having other people clean up after him, seems to be a family trait. He did nothing for the citizens of this country. The worst president this country has ever had. No legacy.

Now Mr. Perry – the federal government is not thumbing its nose at Texas or any citizens. You are. You didn’t want the stimulus package, it wasn’t for you, it was for the citizens of Texas who really, really needs the governments help. All of you out haven’t a tea party do not need the help. Oh, yes you will take it gladly, if it was handed to you in total, with you to do with as you see fit and keep what you want to do with as you please. The taxpayers already pay your salary, health benefits, pension, plus the obscene cost of paying for a fancy house, while the governors mansion is being repaired at another obscene cost and just wait till the decorating starts. All your traveling expenses and pomp and circumstance. I for one think you should have been put in a travel in the back of the capitol. I, of course are in the minority. My DNA goes back, from men who fought in every war this country has had. I for one think you ought to suck in your gut along with all your big grandiose ideas and look inside to have a reality check on ethics, integrity, common decency, love of all human beings and pass laws that apply to all citizens, not just a favor few. It takes a lot to be called a real good honest man, many Texas citizens haven’t found that quality in you. The hardest job and individual has is having the intestinal fortitude to face the unadulterated truth about themselves in regard to how they really treat their fellow man. Quit trying to make laws for peoples morals, private and personal lives. Take care of your own, that and any young children you might have, that is all God gives you the responsibility for. Everyone else has the same responsibility, not politicians. Ministers are there to teach only. Lots of politicians and ministers really need to take care of their owns souls, as they are in the business for the jingle of Midas not for their love of humanity. Too many sorry hypocrites. When you walk that last mile alone to meet the real “JUDGE”, no one goes with you, he isn’t going to ask you if you saved any souls, but he will know if you saved your own and just being baptized want do the job. I think that is where he sees the worst, because if they took the oath they really were supposed to follow his rules. That dark side of the soul is hard to fight.
